1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
FYNRUN LTD (in formation), represented by Abdul Aziz Arifi
Woodward Square, Murphystown Way
D18 K64W Dublin
Ireland
Email: info@fynrun.com
2. Overview
This website is an information page for the upcoming FYNRUN competition. It uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking services, and embeds no third-party content (such as external fonts or social media plugins). All resources are served directly by our hosting provider.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by:
Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA ("Vercel").
When you visit the website, Vercel processes technically necessary data in server log files that your browser transmits automatically:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- page or file requested
- browser type and version, operating system
- referrer URL
This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely, reliably and efficiently. Log data is not combined with other data sources and is deleted automatically after a short period.
Vercel also processes data in the United States. Transfers are based on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR) and on Vercel's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel.
4. Waitlist (email sign-up)
On the home page you can sign up for the Season 1 waitlist with your email address.
Scope and purpose
We process only your email address. The sole purpose is to notify you by email about the launch of FYNRUN Season 1 and your priority access to registration. Your address is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
Sign-up process
Submitting the form transmits your email address directly; we do not currently send a separate confirmation email. The form also contains a field that is invisible to humans (a "honeypot"), used solely for automated spam detection — if filled in, the submission is discarded rather than transmitted.
Legal basis and withdrawal
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by emailing the contact address above informally. After withdrawal your email address is deleted from our waitlist.
Storage period and service provider
Your email address is stored until the purpose no longer applies (start of public registration) or until you withdraw consent. For the technical transmission of the form we use Web3Forms (Web3Creative, Kerala, India) as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. According to the provider, Web3Forms only processes the request to forward it to our email inbox, does not permanently store the form data itself, and deletes technical server logs periodically (approx. every two months); processing takes place on servers in the United States. Web3Forms provides a data processing agreement for this purpose: web3forms.com/dpa.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- access to the data processed (Art. 15)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- erasure (Art. 17)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18)
- data portability (Art. 20)
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21)
- withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3))
An informal email to the address in section 1 is sufficient to exercise these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the authority of your place of residence.
6. Data security
The website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection (TLS). Data you transmit to the website — such as your email address — is thereby protected from third-party access in transit.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this privacy policy as the website evolves — for example with the launch of registration, the app or additional features. The version published here applies.
